Just read your article about Aon buying WTW. Thank you for writing it, including the history. I’m a “retired” pension actuary from the Philly area, spending the later portion with TPF&C – exited on their absurd VSP in 2006. Philly based Huggins was bought by Hay Group in the ’70s, I think. What ever happened to that actuarial piece of history? The demise of DB plans is an American tragedy within the private sector, while public sector plans will be the economic demise of America.
