  1. “Congress designed the regulatory structure for the plans which made it difficult-to-impossible to prudently fund and manage the plans” Please detail the “regulatory structure” you are referring to.ERISA??The Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendments Act of 1980 (MPPAA)?? The Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA)???Also please discuss the effect on the Central States and (New England Teamsters) funding levels as a result of the 2012 action taken by Nyhan and the fund when they adopted the Hybrid Pool. Mandatory contribution increase were eliminated for 10 years for any employer entering the new pool. As of June 2014 Central States reveled that 51 contributing employers had moved into the new Hybrid pool. The New England Teamsters reported UPS and 20 others in 2012.

  2. Well although it is only one fund, the NYS pension fund has stated that it will now not face insolvency indefinitely. So after they stole our pensions everything is fine after six months. another leg pull? But the BLA won’t work, so the pension fund can only be solvent with retiree dollars. They won’t get a dime from current workers until they retire of course. I never heard of so much nonsense in my life.
