  1. I can’t even begin to tell you how infuriating it is that this is even a question. Having a mandatory retirement contribution is nothing short of government sponsored theft. It’s my money. Why can’t the government and employers just let me have what I earned. I really don’t understand why it’s so hard to just let people have what they earn. If I want to invest it somewhere then I will. If I don’t want to then it should me MY choice. Being forced to have nearly 1/10th of my paycheck taken without being “allowed” to opt-out is nothing short of theft.
    This, of course, is on top of the other 20-30% or more of my paycheck that is taken out for taxes and the ridiculously wasteful spending and financial mismanagement that occurs in our country by the politicians and other so called “leaders” in this country on a daily basis.
